This coming Sunday, September 24, we will gather in worship to bring our joys and sorrows to God. Our worship will focus on our hope of healing and our need for reconciliation. We invite all who have experienced pain to join us, all those who have been hurt by friends and companions. Together, we hope our reconciliation will build stronger community in our church and in our world.
Come be part of something greater than all of us!
And from our Profile Committee:
Following this healing service, please come join us again for the sequel to last Sunday’s “Congregational Conversation!”
Yes, it’s the Church Profile Committee again, as we are writing the document that will be sent out to seek new pastoral prospects.
This document paints a picture of our church for potential pastors who may be interested in serving our church.
The cabinet is forming a new search committee that will interview prospective candidates over the next several months after the profile is completed in mid-October.
This Sunday after worship we will talk about our church life in three categories:
Who Are We Now? What is God Calling Us to Be? and Who Is Our Neighbor?
Our last Congregational Conversation on the profile document will be October 15, when we will discuss our final topic, the Covenant between our new pastor and our congregation.
You do not want to miss these great conversations! Your opinion and your support is critical right now. You will shape our future.
See you there!
