I am sitting in the upstairs study of the parsonage watching the snow fall outside my window. I’ve had a busy week at the church. We have had lots of meetings, started a new program called “Supper and Prayer”, cleaned out cabinets, reorganized the vestry, painted the church administrator’s office, and started making contact with friends and members who we haven’t seen in a while. The “Capital Projects Team” got off to a great start Monday night (check out their bulletin board at Coffee Hour) and the Cabinet made some very helpful decisions in their meeting on Sunday.
Church tomorrow will be awesome! It is MLK Sunday and we will have a powerful moment of remembering and celebrating. Also, immediately following the service will be a brief congregational meeting for a vote on some of the capital campaign decisions.
If you are visiting tomorrow–we don’t expect you to stay for the meeting–just go downstairs and enjoy Coffee Hour.
Our church is growing and moving forward–don’t stay home –you never know what you might miss!
