Our family of faith at the Congregational Church of Grafton joyfully invites all to share in our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Monday evening, December 24, at 6:40 p.m. in the sanctuary, beginning with a musical prelude from trumpets, the choir, and the children.
Traditional carols will surround a sacred celebration of music-making and storytelling. The Young People’s Message will interact with all in the congregation. A poignant Christmas story, “Hark, the Angel Harold,” will be told by our new minister (and resident storyteller) Rev. Dr. Barbara Therese.
The service will conclude with the dimming of lights, the reading of “In the beginning was the Word,” the passing of candle light and the singing of “Silent Night.” A Time of Fellowship and Refreshments will follow the service.
We welcome one and all to our celebration of the birth of the Christ Child!
