Jazz Sunday comes to The Grafton Common this coming weekend!
The soulful music of jazz visits The Congregational Church of Grafton on Sunday morning, March 3, at 10 a.m., and fills the sanctuary throughout the time of worship. The Kelly Clark Jazz Band–featuring music from saxophone, keyboard, bass and drums–will perform all music, starting with the Prelude, concluding with the Postlude and including all the hymns, with distinctively Southern roots, in between: “Down by the Riverside,” “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot,” and “When the Saints Go Marching In.”
Following the time of soulful worship, King Cake will be served in the Time of Fellowship in honor of Mardi Gras that, this year, falls on Tuesday, March 5.
All music-lovers and members of the community are enthusiastically invited to “sing and swing” during a soulful jazz fest on Jazz Sunday, March 3, at 10 a.m., at The Congregational Church of Grafton, located at 30 Grafton Common, in Grafton, MA; 508-839-4513; uccgrafton.org.
