The music committee of the Congregational Church of Grafton, UCC, is excited to present The Tamarack Trio, a professional chamber music ensemble, who will perform Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio in D minor, Haydn’s Trio in G Major (Gypsy) and Schubert’s Trio in E-flat Major.

This trio has been performing since 1970 in New England, nationally, and in Canada. The members also perform in major Boston orchestras, and as soloists. The members of the trio are Ann Karnofsky, piano; Kristina Nilsson, violin; and Rob Bethel, violoncello.

Ann Karnofsky began piano study at age four and has performed throughout the U.S. and Canada, on the radio, television, and concert stage. She also taught piano and music history at UMass Harbor Campus and Northeastern University. Kristina Nilsson has played regularly in the first violin sections of the Boston Pops Esplanade and Boston Ballet Orchestras for over 20 years. She is currently the Concertmaster with the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra, Brockton Symphony, and the orchestra of Coro Allegro. Rob Bethel is currently the Principal Cellist of the North Shore Philharmonic, and has collaborated with diverse groups such as the Boston Composers and Improvisors Collaborative, and is an active freelance cellist in New England.
